The union committees, societies and companies are constantly looking for new talents. The assignments may vary from a light involvement to sabbatical trustee work. Voluntary work are generally considered valuable for employers and it's the perfect way to learn more about your union, get new friends and acquire fresh skills.

Kårens miljönämnd söker nytt!
Tänk dig att få jobba som hållbarhetskonsult – redan under plugget. I miljönämnden får du precis den chansen! Vi har under året stöttat kåren i att bli mer hållbar, allt från att hjälpa sektioner lyfta sitt miljöarbete till att förenkla policys.
Det bästa? Du får forma ditt eget fokus. Vill du jobba strategiskt, kommunicera, grotta ner dig i klimatdata eller påverka värderingar? Du väljer. Och du behöver inte kunna allt från början – vi har fått massor av hjälp från både professorer och konsulter under året.
Exempel på vad vi har gjort under året:
- Arbetat med utveckling av kårens styrdokument,
- Hjälpt CharmK att lyfta in hållbarhet i sina värderingar och sätta mål kopplat till hållbarhet,
- Börjat arbeta med sektionerna för att utreda och stötta dem till att bli mer miljövänliga.
Nu söker vi nya personer som vill ta vid! Är du nyfiken, engagerad och vill göra skillnad? Sök miljönämnden! Vi har i år varit sex personer; 1 ordförande, 1 vice ordförande och 4 st ledamot. Mandatperioden är under ett år men det finns möjlighet att förlänga engagemanget om man vill.

The environmental committee needs new members
In the Environmental Committee (Miljönämnden), you’ll get exactly that opportunity! Over the past year, we’ve supported the student union in becoming more sustainable – everything from helping sections strengthen their environmental work to simplifying policies.
The best part? You can shape your own focus. Want to work strategically, communicate, dive into climate data, or influence values? It’s up to you. And you don’t need to know everything from the start – we’ve had plenty of support from both professors and consultants throughout the year.
Examples of what we’ve done this year:
- Worked on developing the union’s guiding documents,
- Helped CharmK incorporate sustainability into their values and set sustainability-related goals,
- Started collaborating with the sections to investigate and support them in becoming more environmentally friendly.
Now we’re looking for new members to carry the work forward! Are you curious, motivated, and eager to make a difference? Apply to the Environmental Committee!
This year, we’ve been six people: 1 chair, 1 vice-chair, and 4 committee members. The term lasts for one year, but it’s possible to extend your involvement if you want to.
Open to all types of students; bachelor’s, master’s, international, or PhD students.
