Vad är ENHANCE?

Chalmers är tillsammans med nio andra europeiska tekniska universitet med i ett EU-finansierat samarbete. Målet är att stärka den högre utbildningen inom Europa genom att skapa en yta för interaktion och samarbete inom den tekniska utvecklingen, samhället och miljön. ENHANCE-samarbetet består av flera olika projekt inom framtida kunskap, innovativ organisation och ett gemensamt campus. Studentrepresentationen inom alliansen finns i ett studentforum som fungerar som rådgivande organ till styrgruppen, ledningsgruppen och rådgivargruppen och består av en representant från varje medlemsuniversitet. Studentforumet ska ge feedback till de projekt som drivs inom alliansen, men kan även driva sina egna projekt inom samarbetet för att öka kontakten mellan de olika universiteten.

Varför ska du bli studentrepresentant inom ENHANCE?

Som studentrepresentant inom ENHANCE alliansen får du vara med och…

• Påverka gemensamma långsiktiga satsningar inom alliansen
• Diskutera gemensamma utbytesmöjligheter mellan samarbetsuniversiteten
• Diskutera kopplingen och samarbetet mellan lärosätena inom ENHANCE
• Få ökad information om vad som är aktuellt inom ENHANCE samarbetet och liknande EU-finansierade projekt.
• Representera Chalmersstudenternas röst inom alliansen och lyft fram deras åsikter
• Träffa andra studentrepresentanter och fakultet från andra tekniska europeiska lärosäten både på digitala och fysiska

Vilka frågor diskuteras inom ENHANCE?

Inom ENHANCE finns ett studentforum som rådgivare till andra organ inom alliansen för att lyfta studentperspektivet. Studentforumet träffas digitalt cirka en gång i månaden för att diskutera aktuella frågor. Utöver detta träffas de även fysiskt två gånger per år, varav en gång är en gemensam fysisk träff för alla organ inom alliansen och den andra är endast för studentforumet. På dessa träffar diskuteras gemensamma projekt och långsiktiga strategiska satsningar för att utveckla alliansen framåt. Huvudområden som är aktuella just nu och som arbetas mest med är Ett gemensamt campus, Framtidens kunskap och Innovativa organisationer.

Hur blir du studentrepresentant inom ENHANCE?

Alla som studerar på Chalmers kan söka till att bli studentrepresentant inom ENHANCE. Du har en mandatperiod på ett år.

Det är meriterande men inte ett krav att ha erfarenhet av andra förtroendeuppdrag.

What is ENHANCE?

Chalmers, together with nine other European technical universities, is part of an EU-funded collaboration. The aim is to strengthen the higher education in Europe by creating a platform for interaction and cooperation in technological development, society, and the environment.

The ENHANCE alliance consists of several projects focusing on future knowledge, innovative organizations, and a shared campus. Student representation within the alliance is organized through a Student Forum, which serves as an advisory body to the Steering Committee, the Board of Directors and the General Assembly. The Student Forum consists of one representative from each member university.

The Student Forum provides feedback on projects within the alliance, but can also initiate its own projects within the collaboration to increase interaction between the universities.

Why should you become a student representative in ENHANCE?

As a student representative within the ENHANCE alliance, you will have the opportunity to:

• Influence long-term joint initiatives within the alliance
• Discuss shared exchange opportunities between partner universities
• Discuss connections and collaboration between higher education institutions within ENHANCE
• Gain increased insight into current activities within the ENHANCE collaboration and similar EU-funded projects
• Represent the voice of Chalmers students within the alliance and highlight their perspectives
• Meet other student representatives and faculty from European technical universities, both digitally and in person

You will also gain experience in:

• Strategic work
• Representing opinions and actively participating in meetings
• Understanding how ENHANCE and Chalmers work strategically with internationalization issues

What topics are discussed within ENHANCE?

ENHANCE has a Student Forum that acts as an advisory body to other bodies within the alliance, ensuring that the student perspective is represented. The Student Forum meets digitally approximately once a month to discuss current issues. In addition, it meets in person twice a year: once in a joint physical meeting with all bodies within the alliance, and once exclusively for the Student Forum. These meetings focus on shared projects and long-term strategic initiatives to further develop the alliance. The main areas currently being addressed are a Shared Campus, Future Knowledge, and Innovative Organizations.

How do you become an Educational Area Representative?

All students who are currently doing there studies at Chalmers may apply to become a student representative within ENHANCE. The term of office is one year.

Previous experience in other elected or representative roles is an advantage but not a requirement.
